Nursing: Responsible for direct care of the Resident.
Goal is to meet the needs of the Resident
while ensuring they receive quality care.
Duties include personal care, medication
administration, assistance with eating.
Positions: RN, LPN, Nursing Assistants, Environmental Aides
Dietary: Responsible for meeting the nutritional
needs of the Resident. Focus areas include
well-balanced meals, comfortable eating
atmosphere, appetizing and appealing food
preparation, and sanitation. Duties include
food preparation, setting and clearing the
dining room, dishwashing.
Positions: Dietary Aides, Cooks, Dishwashers
Activities: Responsible for the social
needs of the Resident, including social
interaction, sensory stimulation, outings,
games, religious interaction. The goal of
the activity department is to occupy the
Resident’s day with meaningful activities
that are of interest to them. Duties include
one-on-one visits with Residents; outings to
restaurants, shopping, etc.; games.
Positions: Activity Assistants
Environmental Services: Includes
housekeeping and laundry. Responsible for
creating a homelike atmosphere for the Residents to
live in. Duties include mopping, sweeping,
dusting, trash removal.
Positions: Housekeepers and Laundry Personnel
