We have been enhancing the lives of seniors for two generations, meeting their wants, not just their needs. Blakely Care Center is known for its excellent quality of health care, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness and attentiveness to residents and visitors. We care for seniors with skilled and professional nursing, and a complete range of physical and rehabilitation therapies, for a more active life. But beyond that, we get to know our residents as part of our family – greeting them in their own rooms, sharing our family pictures and stories with them, and helping them to live fulfilled lives.

Living at the locally owned Blakely Care Center means enjoying tasty, hot meals prepared specifically to meet our residents’ needs and appetites. Meals can be served in our main dining room, or if a private family gathering is preferred, in our multi-purpose room.

"My wife had been a patient at Blakely Care Center for thirty five days. I spent most of those days at the facility and observed first-hand the excellent care she received from the nurses, their aides, the therapists and even the cleaning ladies.

I ate two meals a day in her room, and found the food superior to any I had experienced at any other facility or hospital. Every day the chef had six courses on the menu and then catered to each person’s wishes.

The administrator had weekly meetings with each department head and demanded the best, so as to keep the facility running smoothly. An extra plus for Blakely Care Center was the transportation of each person to their doctors appointment in the company van and the care given each by David.

Entertainment each week made life more enjoyable for the patients. I made many friends at Blakelys, and thank them for their kindness to me.”
